It’s not known whether anybody was in the Sinsheimer building when the fourth-floor fire started, but no one was reported injured, according to university spokesman Jim Burns.

The fire was mostly extinguished by a sprinkle system by the time firefighters arrived, said Burns. He did not know the extent of the damage.

The cause of the blaze was still under investigation Saturday night, but officials said the cause appeared to be some type of electrical malfunction.
