Consultants group meets today
Monterey Bay Consultants Group, sponsored by the Institute of Management Consultants, will meet 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Marie Callenders Restaurant, 3400 Clares. This is a change in date to avoid Memorial Day.
Doug Bedinger of Walnut Creek, professional development chairman for IMC NorCal, will moderate a discussion with Michael Loschke of Modesto and marketing specialist Ian Jacobsen. Topics will include: how to make offers, crafting compelling and clearly scoped out proposals, value pricing, closing the deal and asking for referrals.

Aptos
'Smart Home' shown in museum
Warmboard, which has a sales office in Aptos, is featured in the "Smart Home: Green + Wired" exhibit at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry running through Jan. 4.
The exhibit features a fully-functioning, three-story modular home to showcase the ways, big and small, that people can make sustainable living a part of their lives.
The home, designed by Michelle Kaufmann Designs and built by All-American Homes, features energy efficient building systems, one of which is Warmboard radiant subfloor. |
